Angry Birds developer Rovio saw profits

Angry Birds developer Rovio saw profits fall by roughly half during 2013, according to its latest fiscal league of legends elo boost results?released today.The company, which saw a growth in staff in the previous year?— a rise from 500 to 800 employees?— experienced a drop in net profits to $37.3 million.

 During the previous fiscal year the company took in net profits of $76.8 million. Despite this drop, Rovio's revenue grew slightly from $210.6 million to $215.9 million.Rovio recently reorganized its staff, with Jami Laes taking on the role of executive vice-president for games.

 Former executive vice-president Petri Jarvilehto left the company to form the start-up studio Seriously with Rovio alumni Andrew Stalbow.Laes previously?revealed less than half of the company's 800 staff members are currently working on developing games. Most of the studio is focused on building the Angry Birds brand, said Laes. Last fall, it was?revealed Rovio?was developing three new original animated series: the second season of the Angry Birds Toons cartoon shorts, a Bad Piggies cartoon and a series based on its Stella spin-off.
